Terms of Use
Last updated September 13, 2026
These terms apply to your use of stigsolution.com, including its documentation and download pages (the “Site”), which STIG Solution LLC (“STIG Solution,” “we,” “us”) operates. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.
Software is covered by its license agreement
Each application you download from the Site is governed by its own end-user license agreement, which you accept when you install or first use it: STIGreviewer, NESSviewer, and STIGrevolution. Where an application’s license agreement and these terms differ, the license agreement controls for that application.
Using the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our products, read the documentation, and download our software and free resources. You agree not to:
- disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site or the systems that host it, or try to get around its security;
- try to access anything that is not intentionally made available through the Site; or
- use the Site in violation of any law, including export control and sanctions laws.
Free resources
The quarterly STIG revision files are provided free of charge. The STIG content they summarize is published by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which remains its authoritative source. Our revision files do not change the meaning of that content.
Site content and trademarks
The Site’s text, graphics, screenshots, videos, and documentation belong to STIG Solution and are protected by copyright. You may view, download, and print them for your own use and for use within your organization, provided you keep any copyright notices intact. Otherwise, you may not republish or sell Site content without our written permission.
STIGreviewer, NESSviewer, STIGrevolution, STIG Solution, and their logos are our trademarks. You may use the names to refer accurately to our products, but not in a way that suggests we endorse you or are affiliated with you.
Third-party names and links
STIG Solution is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, DISA, Tenable, Inc., or any other government agency or third party. “STIG,” “eMASS,” “DISA,” “Nessus,” and other third-party names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the systems and file formats our software works with.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). Liability relating to our software is governed by its license agreement.
U.S. Government users
